What I do with your details
Short version: I use them to quote your job and nothing else. Here’s the longer version, which isn’t much longer.
What I collect
Your name, phone number, the address of the job, and whatever you tell me about it. Email too, if you give me one. That’s it — there’s no account to make and nothing to log in to.
The address box suggests addresses as you type. That’s Google’s autocomplete doing the suggesting, so those keystrokes go to Google as well as to me — same as any map search. If you’d rather not, just type your town and we’ll sort the rest out on the phone.
What I use it for
Getting back to you, working out how far the drive is, and quoting the work. The address matters because a job in Norwood and a job three streets over aren’t the same job to price.
Who else sees it
Nobody. I don’t sell it, I don’t share it, and I don’t send marketing. If a job needs a supplier or an inspector involved, I’ll tell you before anything of yours goes to them.
How long I keep it
Quotes and job records stay in my files — I need them for warranty questions and my own bookkeeping. If you asked for a quote and never went ahead, ask me to delete it and I will.
Asking me about it
Call or email and ask what I’ve got, or ask me to get rid of it. It’s one person’s filing system, not a data department — you’ll get a straight answer.
